Tesoro Zone III Water Booster Pump Station |
| Tesoro Zone III Water Booster Pump Station (Santa Margarita Water District): The Tesoro Water Booster Pump Station is presently under construction with completion scheduled for 2/04 at a total cost of 1.7 million. The facility has four 250 Hp vertical turbine pump units each capable of pumping 2,200 gpm w/ TDH = 350 ft. Additional features include: a Pratt pump control check valve system, two flow meters and a 14" throttling ball valve for the flow control of a backup supply to the Las Flores Zone III distribution system. The facility will be housed inside a block building, with a 600 kw generator system and also includes a Zone II and Zone III Surge Tank System. |
| RECENT PROJECTS Pico Lift Station |
Pico Lift Station (Talega Valley, Santa Margarita Water District): First in a series of three sewage lift stations that will pump the Talega Development's sewage demands to Chiquita Water Reclamation Plant approximately 11 miles away. PRP Engineering prepared the preliminary and final engineering design plans as well as construction engineering support. The facility includes a dry well, wet well and storage well for one hour of average demand and is housed in a block building equipped with a 2 ton bridge crane for equipment removal. Other features include: MCC/VFD Control System, 350 kw generator, 2 -150 hp 1300 gpm dry pit submersible pumps, meter and bypass piping system, emergency intertie valve vault and trash rack. The facility was contracted at a cost of 1.7 million and was completed in December, 2002.
